Elderblogging

To my sheer delight the New York Times had an excellent section on retirement this morning. Of special interest to me was the piece on elders blogging. If you didn't catch the article, check this. Scroll down the page just a bit to see the article.

Aging isn't for sissies. Lots of stuff goes wrong. But there remain many secrets of living fully and growing as you move through it.

One of the Times' mentioned blogs is http://milts.blogspot.com/. Milt is dying of cancer and fighting the good fight as best he can. What a ministry to those of us who are still firmly in the saddle.

No end to what seniors can do for each other and now even for the rest of the reading world.

I am late to the game, but thank you for the information provided in the 06 NYT article. I have found it difficult to locate bloggers who share my interest in being amused as opposed to being informed. As I say in my own blog (www.drinksbeforedinner.com), why are bloggers so neglectful of small talk? Yes, information matters, but so does simple banter. In any case, thanks again.
