    What a remarkable image…can you say more about where this was taken? The quality of the light, the texture–I was left breathless.

    It was taken in the Hassayampa River Preserve in Arizona. It is in the face of a cliff that appears in a few other photos from this photo shoot. It is inspired by some of the feminine images of Georgia O’Keefe plus my own leanings toward the Wabi Sabi aesthetic that appears especially in Japanese pottery. I edited this in Photoshop and Lightroom. And thanks for your encouraging words!
