Meet One of Our Neighborhood Hawks…

There are two adult hawks and their two youngsters living in our neighborhood. Maybe three blocks from our house. Their home, a line of massive dead trees I have shown you several times in recent days, line a nondescript street that connects our community with an undeveloped desert. I wander over there regularly with my trusty Nikon.

    My, but he looks like a ratty sort. The photo makes me think he has lost his neck feathers, but maybe that’s a trick of sight. You are fortunate to be able to see these birds so close to home. G
