Two Best Buddies…

Here are our two best buddies: Dickens and Oliver. They are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels – 12 and 8 years old respectively. Of a certain age, most couples don’t have kids around. Wouldn’t remember what to do with them if they did. But the lucky ones have pooches. We’re lucky.

Greetings from Kangaroo Island, South Australia.

My wife and I have been looking (more like staring) at your stunning photo of Dickens and Oliver – quite simply two of the loveliest cavaliers we have seen – and we know the breed extremely well! Both of your boys have what we consider the perfect face, especially the shape of the muzzle and the shape of the eyes and the amount of ‘white’ showing in the eyes. As you can probably tell – we are smitten with Dickens and Oliver. We also have a blenheim cavalier named Oliver (Ollie) aged 13.5 who is the centre of our world. He looks like he could be the older brother to your pooches.
Treasure every day with them, and very best wishes to you and your “family”.

    Hi Tony!

Thanks for your gracious comments. It is good to hear from kindred spirits who love their Cavaliers. I can’t tell you how perfect they are and how they enrich our lives. I have had dogs since I was a toddler. All kinds of breeds and some mutts as well. Loved them all, but nothing like these two, who are snoring contentedly on my chair as I type these words to you.

    Peace!

    Roger
