Apache Bean Pot…

This pot does its magic when it comes to cooking beans, soups and the like. It was made and fired at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico.  Jo Ann and I have a great feeling for it. The micaceous clay, from which it was formed was dug right there and the fireing was done in a pit. Apache style.

We were there.

It is here.

What’s the approximately size of it? Does it ‘sit still’ when full of beans or soup or whatever? Looks so rustic and neat.
