Sold our House…

It was a year ago this week that we closed on our former home. We were lucky!

Michael…

We have this grandson up in Neenah, Wisconsin. Good kid. Very bright. Plays the drums. Has a serious streak. Then, his dad, Joe, has just taken up photography. Judging by this photo, Joe and Michael are doing just fine.

Gold…

I came upon this imposing structure in an old gold mine in western Arizona. It appears to be a conveyor for ore that comes from the mine. It carries the ore past miners who spot the gold and drop it into buckets while the unpromising remainder is loaded into wagons and hauled away.

At least that was what I figured.

I Love Days Like This…

Can’t beat a stack of Arizona clouds and a blue sky!

Copper Fountain…

This copper fountain, crafted by “Rattlesnake Annie” in Tubac, Arizona, lo these many years ago. I don’t have it hooked up at this point, but I never stop looking at it.

Broken Window…

This old house is slated for destruction. I wandered through it the other day and was impressed with how temporary the common elements of daily living really are.
